TsingTao #beer and Chinese food with the Lions club.
@MightyBigCar You a fan of TsingTao? I used to drink it a lot When I was younger, since it was cheap.
@MightyBigCar I found that when I was in China almost EVERY beer I got, if it was an Asahi, or a Stella, or anything else it tasted like TisngTao!
@MightyBigCar Yeah we never really went to those sorts of places, but I did buy most of my beer from somthing like a 7 11. I dont think I saw Harbin there, I am sure I will be able to find it somewhere here in NZ though.
I am super stoked that there is a Japan Liqour store near me so I can regually pick up speialty Japanese beers from there!
@NeuroWinter yeah it seems like all the upscale restaurants carry TsingTao, Stella, Asahi, Heineken, and San Miguel. on my visits I found I usually had to ditch the folks who wanted to eat fancy, and find a divey place with florescent lights and linoleum floors and a glass front fridge full of domestic #beer . I recall Harbin as being somewhat crisper and slightly hoppier than the typical offerings. Red Star (I think it was the name) was specially bland.
