Hello party people! Hope everyone is doing well.

I've been completely swamped at work and finding that I'm putting off moving forward with life goals in order to try to recoup mentally every night.

I need to make sure I am balancing getting to a working state every day and not getting stuck treading water in one place or another.

I'd love to be able to not feel like work expands to take everything at some point...

@starbreaker Yeah it is tough to separate out the idea of "how things should be" and realize that nothing is as cut and dry.

I'd say before going full bore you could look in to plugs. They come in smaller sizes and it would let you know if that sort of stimulation is something that you'd be interested in.

I can tell you that finding someone that you can be comfortable to ask for those things with is AMAZING.

I don't agree with the idea that enjoying anal penetration has to do anything with sexual orientation.

Does anyone have recommendations for a mac email client that works with a corporate exchange server?

Apple Mail and Outlook both have a lot of oddities and I am willing to try something else to actually get successful email syncing if there is anything worth trying out there.

I've used AirMail but it felt too complex and messy. Plus it added tons of folders to the server for no reason

@kingkoronov I started by watching the local and federated timeline for people/conversations that seemed interesting.

I also aggressively filtered out bots and topics that were the opposite to me.

I believe there are also tools to look for people you follow on Twitter to see if they are here if that helps, but I'm guessing by your profile you weren't a big twitter user.

I just realized I can start a spotify playlist on my computer, play it on all my echo devices, and control it with my phone.

This is the future I was promised!

@generica yeah, I think it is a common problem with Outlook. It only works as expected (replying to the thread and not the sender) on the desktop app for me 🤔

@generica that is so frustrating. You'd expect software like to that to be better.

@hellojed The nice thing about goals are they give us a thing to work towards, not a checkbox to tick. They are there to challenge us and make us better.

If you could do it easily, it wouldn't be a goal.

I played a little with bots and I really liked the shield charge, especially to shut down Roadhog and reaper ults

@bvtsang Yeah, that was my plan.

It is interesting that they tend to release new heros to the PTR in the last few days of an event. The cynical side of me thinks it is done purposely to generate more loot box sales

@nanashi @kensanata For me, aiming for volume is the wrong metric. I'm looking for quality interactions and am ok with less content to sift through.

It is good to talk about why people are not engaging, but assuming everyone has the same use case limits who will stay in the long run

@kensanata I think there is a lot of value there. I remember app.net filling that for me a few years ago. It gave me a place to process and be without having to be "on" with people I know and interact with. It was really freeing to have a social space without those expectations.

But it requires a lot of work to develop new relationship, one that I've admittedly been bad about

@kensanata I also find switching services reopens the question around the actual value of social media.

I'm finding lots of pain points with Instagram now - the new algorithm is making it difficult to get valuable content from people I know/am interested in and instead of switching to a new platform I'm questioning the need for a platform at all.

@hellojed There are McDonald's and Arby's that sell beer. I feel like a bar fight over some horsey sauce or a Dollar menu item would be pretty bad
