I prefer Privacy Badger and uBlock Origin.
My issue with Ghostery is that they also run an ad network, and they try to get people to opt in to sending browsing info back to them. The UI is really nice, but it is hard to trust them imo

I also have trust issues but somehow a German company like ghostery has more credibility when it comes to privacy.
