#LifeGoals
The beauty about cyberspace is we are limited only by our imagination for who we choose to be.
Unfortunately, I still chose to be me.
Eating my words.
#MangeToot
The two firewall problem in action:
Me: Too introverted to interact with them directly.
Them: Too ethereal to log in.
Me: Faves something.
Them: Acknowledges existence.
Me: Returns 500 Internal server error.
AuGmentation:
To improve by gold plating.
PSA: @aedison Is gold dust. Do not waste your time by failing to appreciate and shower with adoration.
Dear neighbours:
I don't care if your car works at 1am.
I'm tired, hormonal, and awake enough to find my stomping shoes.
No rest for the wicked.
We're up all night plotting how to grandstand our dastardly plans into a single tweet.
And now we shall have our revenge.
Hyuk hyuk hyuk.
Mastodating: That self-indulgent pleasure of release as you realise your toot wouldn't fit on Twitter.
I haven't seen my neighbours since my postman 'retired'.
Part of me refuses to accept this as coincidence.
That awkward moment when your boss doesn't understand that you can't farm out a spring servlet to a separate JVM just in case it crashes.
In an afternoon.
Not even if it's easy in C.
Uhhh. New season of iZombie.
Well that's the rest of today blown.
Tonight's book: Re-reading The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August by Claire North.
It's one of those mind-fracks where once just isn't enough.
It's like Groundhog day in slow motion.
So. Harry August can reincarnate. But he always comes back as himself at the time of his birth. After a few lives he discovers 2 things: 1. He's not alone and 2. The apocalypse is coming sooner during every rebirth of the universe.
Just hope it makes more sense this time...
We are Legion (We Are Bob) - Audiobook
Entertaining Von Neuman / Star Trek, shame about the title.
Like SOMA but without the existential dread.
It's about Bob, a guy who has his head cryogenically frozen only to be resurrected in the future as an AI downloaded in to a space rocket.
Then battles through space and pop references as a would-be Von Neuman.
The audible narration is pretty good, but I'll never get used to Arch-imid-ese.

That awkward moment when ya spend a week chasing down bugs only to find the only bug was in the garbage collector.

Just be thankful I don't run my car like I run my code: Quickly until it crashes
Things to fear when I'm driving:
Cursing.
Singing.
Especially when the radio is off.
Perpendicular G-Forces.
(Yes. That is a pretentious way of saying I don't know where the break is. Especially when going round corners. Or over bumps.)
Loves:
Books
Job
Annoying people
Hates:
Other drivers
Leaving bed
Finding clothes
The struggle is real
In other news. Smiling is much easier than giving an actual fluff.
Except about my alarm.
Pretty sure past me hates morning me getting sleep. They set 4 alarms. A-hole.
But for serious. If anyone is paying attention and knows of a decent open source project needing more c++ / java / js (or dojo yes I'm one of those people. Sorry). Spring, gradle, or (I can't believe I'm mentioning it) C#'d be cute too. But I still dfk why anyone ever woild C#.
I bring half arsed glitter, sparkles, the occasional 'whoo', and long distance hug. Singular.
