@Riley @Siphonay This, so very much. There actually are small towns that are decent, but they're few and far between. I say this as someone who grew up in "fly-over country" in a mid-sized city (Waterloo, Iowa).

@Siphonay If you don't like suckless.org then you're really not going to like http://cat-v.org/. They're even more extreme, think that Plan 9 from Bell Labs is the best OS ever, and mix in some libertarian/conservative politics in their "harmful" section, which has its own domain at http://harmful.cat-v.org.

@pzmyers I'm late to the party and some will probably think of me as a horrible person for doing this, but I cheered when I heard that Billy Graham died. One less Christian theocrat to worry about.

@generica Thanks! People like Limbaugh have plenty of outlets already to let people know their opinions. They don't need NPR to give them another.

I heard thie segment two days ago. NPR's been airing these types of viewpoints lately, and I was angry that they played a clip from Rush Limbaugh of all people talking about how we need more guns in schools. This is from FAIR. #balancefallacy #badmedia

I don't either unless one of my friends wants me to. Paying $10 admission and $4 for popcorn is bad enough. If I wanted to see ads I could just watch YouTube or standard TV. The fact they show ads on top of charging admission is pure greed.
