I was actually gonna be sarcastic as that is my norm.

Then I realized I've remembered what I thought were long commands. They were 1/25 of that.

I left that world. I miss many things, but I have no plans to go back to it.

Still have many friends active and they keep me updated, but it is usually full of complaints and hellish stories (tech changes, the challenges are always the same). The conversations tend to always include how lucky I am now.

I was just thinking. Us Coloradans have had more than our fair share of mass shootings. Yet, the one time the state legislature enacted gun reform, it resulted in Dem Congress folk resigning and getting recalled. This was immediately following the Aurora theatre shooting. Even with horror fresh in our minds, we refused gun reform.

@calyanare I really hope we find a motivation that makes sense.

I'm liberal as the day is long, but I don't understand this one. If he had gotten away and the FBI built a profile of the suspected shooter, this guy would fit none of the profile.

Hunting is the only thing explaining 500+ yd shooting. Civilians and most military don't play in that realm.

@calyanare I was in traffic in Denver when the news broke. I couldn't believe what I was hearing as it was unfolding.

9/11 had a bigger effect though. Maybe because I am a vet, but I feel my world changed more that day.
