President Dumbshit seems to think that all it takes to end school shootings are trained, armed teachers.

As somebody who could have been a school shooter if I had had access to guns, I can tell you that's bullshit for one simple reason:

If a "good guy with a gun" is trying to take me out, they've got to do so without shooting innocent bystanders.

School shooters have the advantage because for them, there are no innocent bystanders.

and, as an aside, it makes me realize how heavily I rely on ableist terms for things I think are Not Smart™️ ...
