I am on the cusp of giving up on this service when it comes to anything other than what I had for lunch today. I really like this, but the restraints on my ability to have a general discussion on _anything_ is a little bit much.
@Migukin don't give up! The cool part about Mastodon is it is open source, so we, meaning the Mastodon community, can think of and create whatever features we want, and create the code to make it a reality!!!
@sapadian that's a great spirit, but how do you manage my desire to have an interesting, civil (yet frank and ruckus) debate about various topics when a small but vocal minority freaks out at anything that might offend their tender sensibilities? I haven't given up yet, but I'm getting close.
Those people aren't scared of being offended, they are there *because* they want to make a show of being upset.
