I'm no expert, but I do have some quibbles. I don't like the four pane concept on desktop. Should be able to make one of the three major panes bigger as you want. I also think they should have taken the next logical step and me this a really easy to use version of IRC....something for the masses unlike Slack.

@Migukin I was just thinking that the Local timeline was more like a chatroom than a Twitter feed with the autoscrolling posts flying by =P I'm sure some people are treating it as such

@Migukin I totally agree with 4 panes on desktop being sub-optimal. I am so sure about the solution you jump to...
I would love to hear more about: Why you do not like the four panels on desktop?

@Migukin For me the 4 panels on desktop are information overload. I never know where to look. Especially as 2,3 & 4 look very similar.

@designakt Thanks for the reply. Too much is going on. And, really, the eye is drawn to the movement of the fourth frame anyway because of the movement. So, I would make it the most important aspect of the service and hide or lesson the importance of the other three. And, remember, people are coming from the Twitter , so I would take that into consideration.
