@CobaltVelvet well, I like edibles because it's super easy to meter the intake compared to smoke or vape. I'm a flyweight, so a 5mg THC gummy bear works fine, 10mg is stoned, and any more than that turns me into an incoherent stumbling flailing muttering caricature of a human being until I fall flat on my face and just lie there twitching silently. Plus the effects come on more smoothly and last longer.

@TQ here in the US we have a budget 'express' delivery service, OnTrac, that a lot of shippers are using now. OnTrac like to dump packages in semi-random locations up to 400 meters from my home, and record then as delivered to "front porch" (obviously not) or "receiving area" (WTF is that? I'm 2.5 km up a forest road. There is no fucking "receiving area", and if there was, it wouldn't be a mud puddle by the side of the road). Past 9 months: 17 deliveries, 17 fuckups, 58 cumulative days late.

@gargron well, I'm working because this goddam superexpensive evaluation GPU is not working, and it's been more than a day long battle just to get it to run 4x slower than the much cheaper parts it's supposed to replace. Fortunately, there are dog snuggles awaiting when I finally return to Mastodon.

that reminds me - sometimes I've seen onions spontaneously sprout. But maybe you can only get one onion that way, so it's not a path to infinite vegetable supply.

@Averly I think potatoes are kind of unique that way, but I'm not sure.

My sweetie has grown a number of citrus trees from seeds, but none have born fruit yet.
