The ability of human beings to gravitate to a traffic choke point and stop there to talk or check their texts is amazing. This can just be random action, there must be some deep instinctive to "go here and stop".

@MightyBigCar I see it at the grocery store all the time, stopping in a main aisle rather than stepping away to consult their phones. Then again, grocery stores are rife with all sorts of unpleasantness on the part of shoppers, so I can't really single out texters.
