Get emergency alert.
Make drink.
Run outside.
Watch the sky go dark.
Wind picks up.
Start filming time lapse.
Get totally soaked.
Trees are cracking in half.
Can barely see.
Get pummeled with hail.
Lightening flashes all around.
Everything stops.
Wait for phone to dry.
And then I take shelter.

one of the things I really miss since moving to the left coast is the awesomeness of thunderstorms. Sometimes I plan road trips to the Midwest, ostensibly to visit friends& family or attend a sports event, but really I'm just hoping to get a really good thunderstorm fix.
@MightyBigCar Yes! When I was living in the PNW I really missed all the thunderstorms. Although the insect/bug situation was 100x better, somehow I ended up back towards the Atlantic. And now I'm running around in the rain like crazy even when there's thunder. I LOVE it!
