Terrorism is a form of attack that can be defeated by doing *NOTHING.*
Come on people, we can do this!
The present information overload:
"As long as the centuries continue to unfold, the number of books will grow continually, and one can predict that a time will come when it will be almost as difficult to learn anything from books as from the direct study of the whole universe...."
-- Denis Diderot, French Encyclopaedist, 1755.
I recommend the whole thing.
The level of activity in my timeline is still quite low. Without @dredmorbius it would be nearly empty ;-).
Is there any way to boost/fav a toot that isn't on my instance yet? Or a way to manually sync it?
Following the person syncs their future toots, but I don't necessarily want to follow (and it doesn't help for past toots either).
I know, I'm an hapless victim of the hype, but I am eagerly waiting for this game.....
I made a diagram to help you understand how the different timelines/columns work:

I cannot drink coffee. Even a small sip of coffee can ruin a large cup of milk. I think in the IT area, this should be recognised as an official disability
United Airlines just updated their app. As new feature they added support for "Drag & Drop". Excellent combination of timing and wording ;-).
United practically confirmed the joke...
Quote: "United said airline representatives chose four passengers to leave the plane at random based on ticket class, frequent flier status and check-in time [...]"
United is no longer content with only breaking guitars:
Unexpected Politeness
Sometimes processes work and one of my service ticket got answered quickly to my 100% satisfaction on the very first attempt. Yes, really! In this case Siemens was doing a perfect delivery upon first touch.
So I write a short thank you in reply and get another mail that I just opened a new support ticket ;-).
I feel a bit old now....
