I would not say that there is nothing to criticize with that movie.... there is (e.g. the handling of the romantic arc, main villain being unconscious most of the time).
But it seems to me very unfair that an unimaginative x-th generation reboot like "Kong" gets a better rating.
Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets
Just coming back from the cinema and I am bit surprised about the negative feedback Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets is getting.
Acting is OK, the plot is straight and (as expected) the visuals are absolutely stunning and off the charts. Especially the richness and consistency of the design is beyond everything I have seen lately.
If you watch this movie (which I recommend), pick the cinema with biggest and best screen you can get to.
It is surprising how easily people fold when they have to take 10% of what they deal out....

My daily newspaper just came with a blank first page to remind me of World Press Freedom Day 2017. More than 50% of what I was sent was advertisement. I am afraid, the irony was not intended.....
@kensanata It was only the home automation log (about 4 million entries). I have more luck than I deserve as all the scripts (this is where I put the work) survived.
