Another day working from home. I feel so guilty about it, but I don't have control over being sick. Strep throat has beaten me.
On the upside, the owner is going on vacation for a few weeks, and will have a new employment contract for me when he gets back. Seeing as how he's the only person I really have to answer to in the company, this is two reliefs.
@Mainebot we dodged the kiddo's strep, only to get blindsided by the nasty cold. My husband had to come home from work, it was so bad.
@KnotKnormal I had a cold like that last month. I've been persistently sick since mid September at this point. I'm really tired of it.
@KnotKnormal there is an upside! When I'm not sick I am going to feel sooooo unbelievably good about life :) The act of breathing is going to be a joy!
@Mainebot Right? I'm at the panting, mouth-breathing stage of it at the moment, because there is no air at all passing through my sinuses. I had hoped I'd only have this crud once this year.
