Hummus step 1: Sautee an onion
Hummus step 3: a bunch of garlic
Hummus step 4: a bunch of tahini (or peanut butter)
Hummus step 5: a bunch of cumin, a bit of cayenne
Hummus step 5: the juice of between one and two lemons
Hummus step 6: throw the onions in
Hummus step 7: blend, adding chickpea juice to achieve consistency after adding a bunch of lemon don't make it too runny.
Hummus step 8: consider a pinch of salt, but really it's up to you.
Thank you for experiencing me making hummus in real-time. It's very easy. It's very good. I love you.
@Mainebot thanks - it was a cool idea to do that, and interesting.
I might try something like it with the next building things project.
@Mainebot I LOVE YOU TOO
I love that you are making hummus and sharing it with the world, but the staunch purist in me is resisting calling you a heretic for the onions. :)
@RussSharek haHA I don't follow the rules! I forgot to add olive oil too! I hope those onions soaked up a lot of avocado oil! (It still tastes delicious)
It sounds like a delicious bean dip. :)
Hummus step 2: chickpeas, save the chickpea juice for later.
