Designing a GUI for a new type of app is hard. Very hard. I'm working on an app pertaining to cryptocurrencies that I'm hoping to sell to speculators, and I haven't really seen anything that does what this app does before.
@thor there is an entire industry for people whose job it is to design user experiences and interfaces. They're generally quite good.
