Look it's all fine to say 'theres a world outside of the US' and I agree.
But everyone lives on the world together. We all experience the consequences of these politics whether economically, or socially, or through literal acts of violence.
Pretending like America's problems are only America's is short-sighted escapism. If it was your country, would you want everyone else to look away?
