Happy Monday, folks.

I find setting my intentions for the day really helps. If I know what I intend for the day, I can pace myself a lot easier which really helps in maintaining my self care on a day to day basis.

There's always going to be something that needs to be done, but you don't have to do it all at once.

One nice thing about having access to a big printer is that I can think "I want more colorful posters" one day, and put these up on the office wall the next day.

Regarding Facebook tracking non-users Mark Zuckerberg said "This kind of data collection is fundamental to how the internet works."

I'm not a networking expert but I know enough to be able to confidently say that nothing at all about this data collection is fundamental to how the Internet works. I guess he was using Silicon Valley speak where "the internet" means "huge corporations who make most of their money by selling ads and illegally collecting as much data as possible".

Regardless of your personal belief - Happy Easter everyone! The message of universal and unconditional love is something that hopefully, we can all appreciate in our own way.

"Pharma Bro" has faced the wrath of Queen Karma. Who's next on the list? Drug co. CEOs for generic price fixing? Go Michael Cole - go go GO!

@MIDDLEoftheroad2018 Oh you're too kind! Thanks for that!๐Ÿ˜€

I'm not down on myself at all. I really do think I'm awesome and that success is almost completely luck.

That's not to say I'm the best. I'm not. But I'm just a good as some that have made it big. Maybe I'll hit it big one day, maybe I won't. All anyone can do is keep the dice and rolling.

It's me, the nerd who forgets crucial personal details about people and then has trouble carrying a conversation with them because I don't want to ask again.

Women March throughout USA & the world today, yet no comments here. WOW!
Can't someone at least give a shout out to all the great women in cute little pink hats that march for the rights of women everywhere?!

Just a few more things, A. Noyd. Love that clever, witty moniker you selected. It put a smile on my face every time I read or typed it.
Also, looks like you have a photo of a fiddlehead there. Just love them! They are so good for you, too.
So, before we move on there, thanks for your thoughts. I wish you well.

OK, A. Noyd. Clearly I irritate you. Clearly, you don't care to acknowledge that I just may have a great deal of experience in my field. So, let's just move on.
Hopefully, we can at least agree on THAT!

A Noyd, you are certainly correct that you have every right to your opinion, and I sincerely appreciate and respect that. I do not, however, accept that you have the right to proceed with incorrect assumptions about me. I have lived in the conditions I speak of. I do listen to others, but do not accept as truth everything they say, especially when they have far less personal experience than I do.

A. Noyd, I was NOT born with a silver spoon in my mouth. I had scarlet fever as a child because my mother NEVER would spring for an MD visit & now I have heart damage. So please don't make assumptions about me.
I say that not as a complaint- just to point out that you make such judgements and have such little data. And so you know, I have actually worked with these populations as a licensed professional.

@MIDDLEoftheroad2018

You said many people were complaining. You need to listen to those peopleโ€”the "complainers."

Your opinions, however well-meant, sound like they come from a very privileged place. Poverty is a terribly complex issue (with multiple, intersecting populations) and if you want to really help people at the policy level, you have to know more of the intricacies and realities of what they deal with. You have to let THEM tell you what they need, what works and what doesn't work.

So Craig, which UK show about rural vicar do you refer to? Father Brown? Grantchester?

The UK really likes their shows about rural vicars don't they?
