On the other hand, I did stress eat a whole box of Trader Joe's hazelnut sandwich cookies tonight.

My mom has been pretty pleasant and chill since starting on cannabis but occasionally the dementia rage breaks through. Tonight I put my hands on her feet to try to encourage her to go to bed (she was napping in her chair) and she screamed at me. It seems like a terrifying headspace for her. That's the one thing that really shakes me.. It doesn't seem to bother me that she mostly doesn't really know who I am.

I sobbed through much of the end. It was especially resonant and weird because I went to high school in Sacramento.

Having said that, it does feel weird to make such a white movie in 2017. And also any movie that isn't political. But I guess it was in a light handed way.
