Linux: problem 5 minutes after installing
There's no official support, but the logs show what's wrong and a bunch of people online have had the same problem, here's the config file to fix it

Windows: problem 5 days after installing
Official troubleshooter: … No idea, sorry
Google: Go into regedit and change this arcane key and hopefully it fixes it until the next update

Mac: problem 5 months after installing
Supported hardware: Take to the store
Unsupported: f*** you

One of my unironically favorite things about federated social networks is that they all choose names that people can't remember how to spell. Mastodon gets "Mastadon" all the time, Pleroma gets "Plemora".

I've chosen "WelRed" for my federated link-sharing network so I feel like I'm in good company.

A lie so pervasive that almost the entire wold believes it.

That there service is "free" and that our contributions are not valuable.

When in fact there is nothing more invaluable than our time and attention, of which we are each given only a finite amount to spend.
