@sonicbooming Assuming you haven’t played the first game (or owned a Wii U), the multiplayer isn’t as robust as other team-based shooters. It’s designed to be easy to get into and fast paced. Turf war is the standard mode of the game but gets stale quickly once you gotten the hang of the game. The ranked and league battles is where it gets more fast-paced, more varied, and more engaging since you’re playing against very dedicated players a grand deal of the time.
@sonicbooming Really, it’s about as atypical of a team-based shooter as it can get. It represents a design philosophy that puts less emphasis on customization and balancing player-types and more on variation and speed. I’ve always had a great time playing both games. The community is one of the best out there. I’d recommend it.
