@Kryten and we have a few devs here locally that are keen to contribute those changes, so I made an org for us to collaborate on them.
@thurloat Cool. Plus I like the :flag_ca: focus. I'm not a Ruby dev, but I am an expat Canadian living in the US :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
@Kryten I'm not a ruby guy myself either, dabbled in rails many moons ago when it was newerish (2007-8) but never picked it up.
I do python 90% of the time, and definitely glad we have some local instance ruby talent willing to help out.
@Kryten going to be doing some of our own little UX tweaks mostly for the time being.
make our mastodon feel more like home.
we'll be following upstream very closely.
