- the murder of Fred Hampton
- the MOVE bombing
- other attempts to undermind black liberation movements

and it was a lot for me to read and process and i didnt really save any quotes or anything

The Occupy movement likewise struggled due to this:

1. They did risk negative consequences
2. When the media distorted and ignored their demands, it broke any effectiveness they could have
3. All they really did was symbolically live in parks. They didn't actually shut down the wall street firms by occupying their buildings. It was a symbolic gesture exclusively as besides Being Kinda Noisy they didn't impede anything.

Justice costs money.

I need $3,500 to beat the criminal and civil charges against me, and $6k to file charges against the officers who assaulted and brutalized me on the 4th.
