@KevinCarson1 as a kid it was The Yearling by Marjorie-Kinnan Rawlings. As a young adult... maybe The Awakening by Kate Chopin.
@abbycakes I love The Yearling movie -- I should try the book. The Doll Maker is another movie I love that I've never read the book of.
