Still, I wonder what happened to .network? It would've been nice to be able to import some of my contacts from there, but I can't even log in right now. I didn't get the chance before it went down again for me, either.

If anyone else is having problems and has arrived at Octodon from .network, I go by the name of @Chaffinch over there.

@Kestrel @Kestrel I have been able to connect, cleaning the cache through ctrl-F5 seems to be helping when I get a 405 error. Now, I have saved my contact list, just in case I need it.

@arcans I'll have to give that a try. All I've been getting lately is the "Site Maintenance" screen.

I like .network, so I don't want to leave it, but if the errors keep coming it might not be worth it.

@Kestrel @arcans My husband has moved his account too, but I'm still staying put and watching because I don't like the idea of having to manage multiple accounts. How do you manage if you have two accounts — do you check both regularly, or do you abandon one and use the other one?

@celes @Kestrel I think I would simply use one account, and abandon the other. I am not interested into having multiple general accounts. Although, I could also create and use a specific account for a specific goal in parallel of my general one.

@celes @arcans I've got a few accounts on the various instances, but mostly they aren't that busy (bookwitty, for example), so I can check in on them once every 2 or 3 days without missing much.

My main one was .network and this was a backup, but I checked them both fairly regularly. It was easy to just switch them around.

I'd like to go back to having this one as a backup, though.
