Thinking about it, that would've been one heck of a surprise if they'd managed to keep John Simm's involvement in this particular episode a secret.

Ooh, that was a good episode. Very tense and it sets the scene for a very interesting second part.

Looking forward to the next one. I just wish that Capaldi had had Pearl Mackie as a companion much earlier, as well as these most recent storylines.

Really hoping that it isn't another fakeout regeneration, too. I know it's going to happen, but a second fake one would be rather annoying.

Mercifully, Saturday is turning out a lot more relaxed than I thought.

Here's hoping it stays that way. ☺

Can't believe it's nearly the end of this series of #DoctorWho. It doesn't seem all that long ago since the series started, and everyone was curious to see how it would work out.

It's almost a shame to see it so close to the end. This series has been one of the best of NuWho, in my opinion.

I'm resuming tooting from this account again, as my previous instant has become a bit too quiet.

Hopefully no-one will mind my usual blend of bookish, nerdy ramblings and the occasional nature photo.💜

I'm always a bit tired after a family visit. My sister and her husband came over for a meal and, whilst it was fun, it was a bit draining.

We dusted the old Wii off and had a game of bowling for the first time in a while. Makes me realise just how bad I am at that sort of game!😮

Give me a nice, old fashioned JRPG any day of the week.☺

Still, I wonder what happened to .network? It would've been nice to be able to import some of my contacts from there, but I can't even log in right now. I didn't get the chance before it went down again for me, either.

If anyone else is having problems and has arrived at Octodon from .network, I go by the name of @Chaffinch over there.

There's a new trailer for The Dark Tower, and I still haven't read the books? How did that happen? I'm usually a proud bookworm!

I guess the good thing about having a bank holiday on Monday has meant that the week is a bit shorter.

One of the other instances I visit seems to have been stuck in site maintenance all day.

I'll try again tomorrow, but I'm glad that other instances exist. For an analog person like me, it's good to know that if one instance is stuck in downtime, then I can log in on another and keep going.☺
