@NeuroWinter @jalefkowit Work is over-rated anyway. A nap is always better than a meeting anyway, and you don't need Skype for Business to nap!

@jdb I guess the only thing I can think of to say about my "two star" days is that mercifully, we move through them to better days. We can try not to look back over our shoulders to the dark days and look forward to the brighter ones. I hope you have a five star day tomorrow.

@jdb Hi jdb, I don't think this is necessarily cynical. Rather, I think we (humans) tend to reach out to others when we need support or reassurance. We don't tend to do that as much when we are happy or satisfied. I know that I personally tend to share my challenges, hoping that others may help steer me into a better place. I don't need that external support when everything is sunny and satisfying.
Just my two cents.

@pzmyers As a person who just had to move a many days old deer corpse from his property, your yellow mystery blob is VERY low on the ick scale. Of course, your blob is in what looks like an airtight container and my deer was not. I have photos (that I made to show the department of transportation the location of the carcass) of the deer corpse, but I think they would only be interesting to a deer pathologist or the deranged, so I won't share them.
:^)

@vilbi If you ever come back to the Portland area be sure to let me know. My wife and I would enjoy meeting you and show you some of the things we love about the Pacific Northwest.

It will be interesting to see if the JSON Feed is widely adopted:

@vilbi Very cool. Portland, Oregon (where I work) is a very big bicycling town, yet I have never seen anything like this. It looks like you live in a wonderful place.

@vilbi How does does the counting station know how many? Is there a ride-over counter (pneumatic, etc.), or camera?

@pzmyers "The whole family is a skeevy assortment of nasty ratfuckers and villains, poisoning everything they touch."
This may be the most perfect description of the current "first family" that I have read since Trump was inaugurated.

@pzmyers Re: "The culture we have..." Well said sir.

@vilbi I hope to be able to see it someday. I have never been to Europe. All of my travel was during my time in the US Navy, so all in Asia or South Pacific. But I have made myself a promise to see Europe, and Germany specifically, before I die. Very beautiful.
