Oh no 'Major service disruption' at Fedora... I really need to reinstall my workstation. What now? Seriously this has been a terrible week so far...

So bummed. Xorg is behaving very unreliable after dnf upgrade and I can't seem to rollback. I'm crying on the inside and my reinstall instinct that I've inherited from Windows is tickling me. I really don't want to. #fedora #linux #theregoesmyweekend

Must be the dnf upgrade since Gnome has died a horrible death, after login it goes back to tty and lightdm .... grr

Well the installation of the freshly installed infinality seem to have worked. Fonts look much better...

But, uhm, what happed with i3? Pressing Mod+f closes the session... Is that because of my installs or the dnf upgrade? Help!

pfew, fixing and compiling the infinality-ultimate-fedora so it supports Fedora 25 and actually compiles. I really hope it will all work soon as the rendering in PhpStorm sucks compared to my Fedora 24 workstation...

Nice have the opportunity to dive back into Ruby and Rails! I really like the syntax although when I say this I always get a flood of negative comments about that! Oh well I also like PHP programming so I am just a little bit weird I suppose.

come to think of it, I always side with "the other side". Like going for the genesis instead of the snes or Atari Lynx instead of the Gameboy! What's wrong with me. haha

Wow i3 windows manager already saved me kilometers of mouse usage! Why did I ever avoid the use of it?

omg they've changed the Reddit app for the worse. How on earth do you go back to the top of the feed quickly? Normally I could just refresh the feed but that is now replaced by a fugly Home/Popular tab system thingie.....

Now that my hand feels like crap really giving i3 windows management a real try! Wish me luck

Last year I've spent loads of time on Emacs and Vim configurations. Then it all faded away as Visual Code began its uprising. Now I feel like revisiting one of them and not sure which route to take. Loving Emacs for ORG but love the speed of VIM. Oh dear the choices....the choices...

So after finishing Lotr. My daughter loved it btw. We will tackle x-men today!
