Angry mom texts 35-year-old man instead of her daughter, hilarity and outrage ensues: boingboing.net/2017/04/27/angr

@quinterbeck haha it must be almost similar. How to eat is the great debate over here with even YouTube tutorials youtu.be/Fm4AVgPL8jk too bad it is only in Dutch and this is obviously ment as a "joke". Although when you eat one in the company of savages this can become quite serious. it's said many have perished over the years.

@johnson you sir, are a hero and your work is greatly appreciated. 🤓

@starbreaker I suppose you had an external monitor hooked up, without that it must have been hard figuring out why the screen went black. I love Linux and its practical jokes. I remember trying to remove kde from a Fedora install and it decided to remove everything that is actually useful for the other desktop environments still on the machine. such good times. Best thing is that I usually decide somthing like that when I still need to do work. Oh the laughs we have together.

humbug you can't edit posts on Mastodon. sorry for the typos in my last one

On kingsday here in the Netherlands, it is custom to eat a tompuche. since this is a tradition, it is also a tradition that most suppliers make to little of them.

Yesterday I would've liked to treat my colleagues with one of them as it was my last workday before moving on.

My wife was collecting the last few remaining while I see a woman literarily run towards us almost dive inside the cooler and grab the last one. No idea what possesed her. We left the others and bought something else.

Them: the convention is to use camelCased for variable name

@starbreaker why switch when you are happy right? nothing scary about that. at least you don't have to wait for special effects to be done before you can use a window.

Well that was a useful experience, cleaning up my mail through OpenSSL using busylog.net/telnet-imap-comman as my manual!

I did however connect like this: openssl s_client -crlf -connect MAIL_SERVER:993

Thank you kind writers of Bates Motel for a very nice wrap-up of the series. I'm going to miss the incredible acting and engaging story telling immensely!

Now let's hope Freddie Highmore gets some kind of reward for his efforts.

@tiphra Have fun, what are you going to see?

Hmpf there isn't anyone out there who has a spare PhpStorm license laying around?

Really liking the mobile experience with the Yandex browser. Now al my information is owned by the Russians instead of the Americans (Chrome). But they made some really nice enhancements to the browser experience! Can only recommend!

@Madoka much strength in these difficult times.
