@kensanata I suppose writing the out of the startup command to ~/.gpg-agent-info should then work as a backward compatible fix. However, when I do, it still does not do what it is supposed to do. So I might need to tinker the output of that file somehow, since you do a setenv. I am not very at home with elisp is there a "console.log" or equivalent I can use to see what it reads and tries to set?
