Why do non-profits and like, labor reformers, think tanks, etc always have the grimiest labor conditions.

@Jewbacchus because you should be GRATEFUL that you even get to some something you ENJOY GEEZ now returning to our winter giving campaign if you would all please be so kind as to donate 5% of your salary back to the org....

Brought by finding out a friend who has had a hand in more than half of the newsworthy labor gains from the last few years is being pushed out of her job in order to avoid a cost of living raise bc she rejected a pay cut and a relocation to somewhere cheaper to live.
