Went to see the new "Fast and the Furious" movie this afternoon. If anyone was worried they'd break the precedent by making this one less than completely ridiculous, put your mind at rest. #theydidnot
Aaagh, it's early.
@Doppio Wow, congratulations. Are they gonna provide training, or did you study for this, or...?
Earlier I was complaining about having too much RPG material stockpiled...too much to actually read. And then today the mail dropped off my copy of the new "Paranoia". :persevere:
@imallmostgone I've a list I'd be happy to send your way. Msg me if so.
@howfar Yeah, the occasional error is always amusing. But they occur even within an individual series. E.g. it's kind of difficult to say with any certainty what Psmith's first name is.
About a year ago I started an attempt to read through *most* of P. G. Wodehouse. I'd figured out, from what I'd already read and from checking wikipedia, that a big chunk of what he wrote is loosely in continuity. Any time he reused a character or a setting in more than one story, that story is in continuity with every *other* such occasion. I'm about a quarter of the way through that mass of interconnected stories now, and it's turned out to be one of the best reading choices I've ever made.
@Canageek The main virtue of physical books is that there's a hard limit to how many I can accumulate in my tiny condo. But in terms of electronic material I rival the worst cases you've ever seen depicted on "Horders".
@howfar Robin is great, and Ken Hite as well. Pelgrane Press accounts for a huge share of the overload in my library. I got onto Trail of Cthulhu via a Bundle of Holding offer a few years back, and I've just kept adding to the pile.
Oh, I'll mentionas well that I'm a #mefite.
I'll gladly talk tabletop RPGs, webcomics and comic books, P. G. Wodehouse, RVs, and hiking.
@phire Count me in.
Ok. let's see how this thing works.
