@annakoop I don't know that it's really a thing. If it is, it's not worth worrying about. Who gets sick from brushing their teeth because it has a few poop molecules on it?

That last toot was part of a reply I wrote to someone who asked me about the validity of the "washing chicken" concerns over "splashing". Folks, there are far more likely things to make you sick or kill you than that.
My husband insists I put away all the nearby dishes before dumping a change of fishtank water into the sink because of "splashing". I'm pretty sure I can survive a droplet of fish water. I mean, they are fine with it! I'm pretty sure I can even eat the damn fish and be ok. He was a bit mortified by that idea. I don't think it was a good way to try to make my point. The "splash" danger has also been applied to washing meat and aerosols of poop from flushing the toilet. It's all bogus.
@taknamay The inability to reserve my username across the entire platform is bugging me already. It will become too confusing too fast. It's not use about branding and copyright but personal identity. Maybe there is a solution to be found.

I'm the person who does the serious critique about the latest #bigfoot claim. Why? Because people really believe this stuff without good reason. That's generally bad for society.
