I'm feeling guilty about neglecting my main web project. After 6 years, I've run out of enthusiasm for it. I've moved on to other things. But what do you do when people like it and tell you they want more?
@vhf That would be a fine idea but there is no one. It's a niche. Wish I could!
@Idoubtit Nobody technical in your users?
@vhf It's the content and the ethos. I've never even had writers stuck around for long.
@Idoubtit Politely inform them that you've moved on. I had this happen with a website I ran for a bunch of years. Then I got burned out. People are pretty okay when you tell them you felt like you needed to do something else.
@Idoubtit My father, Domingo Montoya, was told that he was a fine swordsmith, so he made more swords. Then one day, a six-fingered man killed him over a custom made sword. Dangerous business, this doing what others like...
@Idoubtit if it's a personal project, listen to yourself and decide for your needs.
@Idoubtit I can relate. I have pages of updates and research to do for http://debunkatron.com
@Idoubtit hand it over to someone you trust!
