@HufflepuffBR - :game_die: For 25+ years and counting, both as a player and as a gm/referee.

@HufflepuffBR Does a DisneyWorld themed RPG created by a former Disney film touch up artist count?

@HufflepuffBR Well, he created the Kingdom Traders RPG because of his working with Disney and Disney World. Basically the players are Tier 3 Security:Time and Space and are trying to find the "Creator" who is being held hostage around Disney World. Each player has abilities of a Disney character and Disney World ride, which is only usable once per game. I chose Lady and Mt. Everest so I can help boost my teams Initiative and also get an out-of-body, eagles eye view of my surrounding.

@bradlibum Wow! Sounds a nice setting... The kind of thing I would play in Fate without thinking.

@HufflepuffBR Our last game, we were on a monorail trying to save Jack Skelington from Oogey Boogey. As we progressed towards the front of the monorail, Winnie the pooh ripped off two doors of the moving monorail, causing Oogey Boogey to be sucked out and making it so we could not get to Jack. Oogey had the key. Still it was hilarious/frightening watching Pooh lightly pet the locked doors and having them just rip like rice paper.

@bradlibum Wow! Great thing! I had worked some adventures and settings and people liked it

@HufflepuffBR Yup. A lot of indie based systems like Monster Hearts.

@HufflepuffBR Yup. You can find some by digging tags like #rpg or #tabletop.
There are also some players on mastodon.weaponvsac.space/abou .

@Whidou I'm focused on indie/narrative RPGs: Fate, AWE, Cypher, Savage Worlds...

@Gallowglass @Whidou Apocalypse World Engine... Some calls as PbTA - Powered By The Apocalypse. RPGs like Urban Shadows, Spirit of 77, World Wide Wrestling...

@HufflepuffBR @Whidou Ah, right. I guess I haven't seen it referred to that way, usually just PbTA.

@Gallowglass @HufflepuffBR I'm not too fond of PbtA games, I find them too restrictive :disappointed: .
There are some games from the "indie" trend that I like though, Psi*Run, for example, is neat :grinning: .

@Whidou @HufflepuffBR - I actually haven't tried any of the PBTA games yet, though I've read a couple of them. They do look interesting, and I like AW's implied setting just fine.

@TheDiscordian I'll stay away as I'm on more indie/narratives RPG, but it's nice to know you! I'm just not staying on weaponvsac.space

@HufflepuffBR I listen to The Adventure Zone, does that count?

@HufflepuffBR Well I'm one, though I write most of my toots in English unfortunately. L5R, Qin, Pavillon Noir et Cthulhu fan here!

@HufflepuffBR Yes, trying to get into Pathfinder for a while now

@HufflepuffBR yes. I play Fate Accelerated with some friends. Sometimes it's typical fantasy stuff other times it's alternate history, etc.

@profoundlynerdy Yay! Another Fater here! Brazilian Fate player/GM here

@HufflepuffBR absolutely! I can concentrate on the narrative of the setting. I don't have to give a ton of thought to the rules. Material from GURPS, D&D/PF is readily adaptable to Fate, usually without too much thought.

@HufflepuffBR Most definitely! Running a Pathfinder game right now, but I've played a lot of games over the years. I plan to run Nights Black Agents next.
