Thought: if you cannot successfully pilot a two person kayak or canoe together on a float trip and end up shouting at one another, you are probably NOT meant to be.

@s02303947 Oh yes! There's many kinds of shouts. At the end of this trip though, one person said "Hey, sorry I yelled at you, I got scared when we rammed into that tree and didn't know what to do..." and her boyfriend stood there in stone silence glaring at the ground.

@Gogogadgetpants exactly! just gotta go into it with the right mindset I guess. work towards a common goal, us vs the problem. Not my way vs your way!
Whenever I go canoeing I prefer to go with problem solvers or mellower peeps. it's the worst when you get stuck going nowhere with someone who doesn't wanna cooperate!
