1: (8)746 hookswitch - had to desolder it from a 1983 PCB and resolder it onto this 1972 one & realign the spring/metal bits - PO/BT changed the side the metal base of the switch lever is on over the years!

2: 4000R bell coils (also from 1983), with wiring changes for BT plug and socket make this an 8746 rather than just a 746 #telephone

Better than just putting a 3k3 resistor in series with a 1000R bell, that doesn't sound as loud with the lower ringing voltages often used today.

Spent another morning routing cable and setting up ethernet. This is just for a home setup.. I've decided I don't want to live in a house, I want to live in an office with good cable management

@jason yeah, that's basically what the ad says - taking antibiotics frivolously makes them non-effective, then you die. XD tbh there's plenty of other stuff ppl can take for a cold, but there's a bunch of stubborns who won't believe that antibiotics aren't the way. (just paracetamol is enough for a cold!)

haha there's an antibacterial spray ad which annoys me too. XD where ppl spray a cushion. I'm like, just wash the cushion cover ffs!

I was awake at seven, so I grabbed coffee and took Molly to the park, came home and took a cat nap.

Then I visited my psych to review the ASD diagnosis.
After that I went to the dentist and got a cavity filled.

Target for some lipstick and cheezits.
Ate cold ramen noodles with a half-numb lip.

Came home and videochatted with a friend whose trying to build an inclusive tech team… felt pleased I could network with him.
