Things I'd like here:
* Ways to mark posts/columns as read.
* Self-chosen user interest tags to search for cool people by.
* Language tags & filters.
* Facility to scan other social accounts I'm logged in to, so I can see if any friends are already here.
* No 'invite' functionality of any sort (ugh, LinkedIn).
* Instances downloading user lists from other instances, even once a day, so it's actually possible to find people.
