Ok. Idea of #scuttlebutt is very cool. I think Mastodon and scuttle complete each other the same way as Twitter and Facebook. One is instant and the other is well more about what happened and long posts
I think it's time to test #scuttlebutt
Okey, so are the tags a thing on Mastodon or not? Should I use them to "reach more people"
I'm looking for work in #webdevelopment/#devops. If you know of a job opening that I might qualify for, or if you need work done in that area on a freelance basis, please let me know.
Here's my resume: https://github.com/joyeusenoelle/Resume/
(You can also see some of my recent work at https://github.com/joyeusenoelle/ !)
If I want to go full open source Android, F-Droid instead of google play and without other stuff, what is the best device for this? Some Nexus? Something else?
Hi Mastodon 👋 What should I break today?
It's the first time that my Linux install is getting more functional in time. Right know I have working audio in Steam (flatpak install, don't ask) and bluetooth headphones works
should I install pulseaudio and network manager
maybe it's because I have to live in very Apple-centric environment. From my observation they have very big need of showing off. Right know - who first bought HomePod
So right know I'm kinda fed up with Twitter and all it''s consumerism. Going back to Elon Musk and what he does with his company's is amazing but let's not say it pushes science forward. All this knowledge is still intellectual property of his.
So apparently Elon Musk became God and you can't question him #alteredcarbon
Send some car to Mars to promote two own companies instead of sponsoring some scientific research #latestagecapitalism
I've give up. I've joined systemd crowd :(
I propose new phrase: language hopping - like distro hopping but for programming languages.
I know how to write hello world in about 20 different languages but really know only one - PHP. JS and Python are on the "I can do some stuff in it" side.
Woke up at 5 am. I don't recommend it. Had to stay quiet to not wake up anyone and to be honest wasn't anymore productive then when I wake up normally at 8. Oh yes, it's 9:30 right now and all my brain thinks of is a cozy blanket and a pillow.
To sum it up. I'm not a morning person. I will never be so stop insisting that if I woke up early I would do a lot more.
As a web developer trying to move from PHP to other spaces (and do some native Linux GUI and console tools) should I choose Go or Rust?
Go seems to be better for webdev where Rust looks better on system side
Thank Gods I have Gentoo - by this hour I would have installed on my system KDE, i3, Xmonad and Xfce, finally making total mess of my computer, the one I use for work.
Should I mix Xfce4 with Xmonad
So sleepy today
