I'm on my third week of trying out the FOSS Taskwarrior command-line todo list manager. So far, so YESSSSSS.

Meta: combined with a couple of bash scripts for quickly creating and editing notes in markdown format (I use them for reference and "someday" items; taskwarrior's "annotate" function allows me to link the two).

@paregorios I've used it in past. It was very good. Now I just use Emacs org-mode - gives me better organization of tasks and associated notes

@GeekDaddy thanks! when/if I get ready to take the emacs plunge, I'll check it out

@paregorios I've moved from NeoVim+tmux+task warrior combination to Emacs and now I basically live in just two apps, Firefox and Emacs. It's amazing, but you have to change the way you think about your workflow
