It is Every Thing! I notice that in all my work and play.
I can give you an initial description. I used to focus on opening the back thigh by rolling the leg so the knee wouldn't point down, but now I roll and drop the back hip (i.e. ass bone) slightly, allowing my inner thigh to naturally rotate up. My knee follows. This let me put more weight on my back leg, and makes more room for my torso, so it settles into the pose better.
That was really hard to describe.

@Fritillaria2 Hey I was meaning to ask you more about this. I'd love to hear about the adjustment and how it feels.
Also - just so many workout-based body discoveries keep on trickling in for me. I try so hard to pay attention but I'm still discovering muscles I never knew I had. For me that's not just a yoga thing but Every Thing.
