Been listening to this album #Ultra all morning. One of the better "new" #DepecheMode sans #AlanWilder albums. I know some fans (ergo me) still want him to come back to the band, but I fear that'll never be the case. DM nowadays is a mere shadow of what they used to be. That's what happens when money and business comes in the way of the music...

@Linuxtjej Yes! This is a *phenomenal* album, and I don’t miss Alan on it.
I don’t want Alan back to DM. As a Recoil fan, I think Alan would have nothing to gain except cash, but I do miss his influence. A lot of songs missed their potential because DM lacked someone with talent to craft a song start to finish, like Alan.
Now, DM kind of sucks. Delta Machine is a respectable album, but every song still ends in a whimper. I’d say Hillier was the problem, but, um, SPIRIT. Ugh.
