My crazy wife just made me an offer: if the woman she thinks I'm interested in says she will be with me after our divorce, my wife will sign the settlement agreement. It's tempting to ask the woman (my good friend) to take her up on that offer, if only for a little while. But I know my wife is only lying again. She'll never sign the settlement. She wants me to admit to being interested in my friend then destroy my friend's life.
@SteveJohnson That's an excellent question. Unfortunately, my wife is Chinese. We got married here in China, and my son was born here in China, so although he has dual citizenship, the Chinese probably have first "dibs" on him. =d
@FadingAway The Chinese only have dibs because he's physically in China. However, the US Embassy in China, which are in Beijing, Chengdu, Guangzou, Shanghai, Shenyang, and Wuhan, are actually considered US territory, and if he enters one of those buildings, the US can take over.

@FadingAway Anything the US embassy can do to help? Seems like this son is a US citizen too and is eligible to fly to the states with you and start life over again.
