It's funny how the person who mistreated you for 4 years suddenly "can change" and "deserves another chance" because they only now realize that what they did to you was wrong and deep down, that's not who they truly are... except...it really is who they are, and they couldn't really change if they wanted too, and they secretly believe they've done nothing wrong and blame you for "breaking up the family" and continue trying to hurt you all the while claiming they HAVE changed.
