Star Trek, Lewd, Vorta

Finally getting around to the second season of ST:DISCO

1052 words for the evening. A bit ahead of where I hoped to be, a bit behind my usual target, and way more than I should have written considering how much I've worked and how little I've slept in the past 48 hours.

I put in a 14 hour day yesterday so I didn't get any writing in. I was going to goof off today and get an early night in. But I guess I'm going to try for at least 800 words.

And keep the early night part.

i will absolutely never understand other allistics that say autistic people are scary or uncaring.

you need to fix yourself and your self centered view of the world and the assumption that everyone communicates like allistics do. like this includes me, allistic to allistic.

do better. read Actually Autistic voices. Support the Autistic Self Advocacy Network. Shun Autism Speaks. There is nothing wrong with autistic folk but they need support to navigate a world that's hostile to them.

1277 words for the night. I know it doesn't sound like much compared to some of the numbers I've shared but I hit my goal. ^_^

And the last few sessions the goal has been 400 words. So yeah.

lol This is what I get for writing when I can barely keep my eyes open: a bunch of really silly typos, punctuation, and capitalization issues to fix the next time I write.

one time an older lady pointed at my bright blue hair and asked "is that one of those pokemons"

Can we PLEASE find another word for "problematic white woman" that is not my actual name, I know this is an incredibly trivial thing to complain about but also it sucks

Did anyone else see the Not Quite Human series? Apparently it was a made for Disney movie series. Alan Thicke played a scientist who invented a robot who was a high school boy.

Wacky hi-jinks involving evading a defense contractors or something. I haven't thought about the movies in yeaaaars. It's been so long I don't remember much about how good it was.

Folks I know hate my taste in movies so even if I loved it, it wouldn't mean much. 😹

600 words isn't so bad considering how late I got started. Time to wander off and be mastodon's sleepiest girl in bed instead of at the keyboard though.

"There are people who seem to get really offended about gender fluidity or non-binary folks- but those are just people who feel like their gender is is insecure, you know? and in this day and age it *is* important to keep your gender secure. your gender should contain lowercase letters, uppercase letters, at least one number and one symbol"

apples (the food, room temperature take)

When I die and they make a movie of my life (no, please don't) all the characters should be played by muppets.

While trying to find a thing (spoiler: I didn't find the thing), I accidentally found out that my mastodon anniversary (tootiversary?) is Monday.

I boosted all my favorite underappreciated toots while I was back there.

Note to self: You still haven't made an introduction toot.

I've been single so long that

Growing up with the early 90s and the civilian clothes on ST:TNG and DS9 may have damaged my sense of appropriate color combinations for clothes. But if this light blue skirt and magenta tank don't go together, the world is just going to have to deal with it.

Me, 5 hours from now: I spent all day reading really bad webcomics instead of writing.

Other me: And what did we learn?

Me, 5 hours and 1 minute from now: NOTHING AND IT WAS GREAT OK.
