Apparently, putting Alka-Seltzer in my mouth while getting baptized and pretending I’m being possessed by the devil is 'not funny.'
So, June 6th, 1944. One of those Big Deal Days in history. The sort that get a name, all caps. A reminder, as I'm an American and self-centered, of what happens not only when the US remembers its obligation to and shared destiny with Europe but also what happens (looking at every day prior to June 6th, 1944) when we try the isolationist thing. Which path do we want to travel on June 6th, 2017?
