I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite (and I have to admit I lean more toward Harrison's solo work)....but "Eleanor Rigby" is up there, as is "Hey Jude"...

Funny how people lose context. Looking back from today's perspective, it's easy to be blind to how pioneering the Beatles were, because by today's standards they can seem tame, dated, timeworn, even *trite*. It's like underestimating the impact of the button on western fashion when it arrived from the east back in the, what was it, 13th century? Radical innovations that we take for granted today because they are ubiquitous and commonplace, Beatles and buttons both.
