colonial history of Belgium
A very interesting article from the PvdA, a marxist political party in Belgium.
"Hoe de kolonisatie van Congo de grote Belgische patroons verrijkte"
(How Congo's colonization enriched Belgium's large companies)

It is in Dutch, I have pasted a DeepL translation here:
It was cloudy so the light was not great but this turned out quite well.

And this is nice too. I love blossoms but budding leaves are underrated

For a fleeting moment there was a break in the clouds and a glimpse of blue, just at the right time for these plum #blossoms.

17 year-old Juliane Koepcke was sucked out of an airplane in 1971 after it was struck by a bolt of lightning. She fell 2 miles to the ground, strapped to her seat and survived after she endured 10 days in the Amazon Jungle.
She was the lone survivor of that plane crash and that the plane was "assembled entirely from spare parts of other planes"

After upgrading from 20.04 to 20.10, I have tried to compile a large LaTeX document today and found that the compilation failed trying to process style file expl3.sty file.
What I had not noticed was that that file had been read from a folder in my home directory
and that there was a more recent file with the same name in the LaTeX system directories
When deleting the file in the home directory, everything went back to normal

oh young cherry tree--
this year you have learned to dress
in spring's fresh array
but may you never learn to
let your soft petals scatter
(Kokinshu #49, by Ki no Tsurayuki, On seeing cherry blossoms blooming for the first time on a tree in someone's garden.)
I went flat on my back so that I could take a few pictures of blossoms against blue sky.

I and @Guresuke-san are now MATHEMORPHOSIS!

Our second song, "Bygone Days", focuses on a different type of absurd -- the one that we face in the course of our daily activities:
