Breakfast has a pen now and can run around a bit more, and suddenly he is full of interest and hopping after a quiet day post-op. <3 octodon.social/media/pM-AcLg-Z octodon.social/media/I7EQeSZAC

My pop science blog is operational now, by the way! neatscienceblog.wordpress.com/ Nothing major there yet, but it's coming...

Sometimes, all you need is your arms full of bunnies.

There's nothing like requirements that say absolutely nothing so you get to start digging in the doc. At least this one's only a tiny project.

Working day is done and for a change, I am super tired.
Joke, i am always tired.
Quick stop for groceries and then hopefully just bunnies, wife and other nice things for the rest of the day.

I hope everyone else has had, is having a good one.

Seeing toots and boosts propagate through the exploding network of federated instances is like watching the hyphae and filaments of some subterranean lifeform, threading mycoforms and fruiting bodies through the bare earth in a cascading birth of a brand-new ecosystem.

What I mean is, woohoo, I think my posts are going fungal.

There's really only one thing to do with weather so nice and warm like this. It's noping the fuck out and finding the coolest place you can. All you sitting in the sun on purpose people? You're completely mad.

Further to previous post: both our bunnies love a snuggle, but not all do. Hulk prefers certain parts of leaves and ignores the rest. Breakfast squeaks and honks a lot, while Hulk is virtually silent. Hulk will sulk if you do something she dislikes or if you leave e.g. for a week's vacation.

Tl;dr, bunnies are individuals and they take work. One does not just walk into a pet store, grab any bunny, and get their perfect pet.

So it's nearly Easter and you may want a rabbit. Remember:
1. They need attention and exercise.
2. They have unique personalities and preferences.
3. They chew anything and everything.
4. They're butt heavy. Support that butt when you pick them up.
5. They can be stressed to death.
6. Some shed a lot.
7. They need to eat constantly.
8. Non-reproducing females are prone to cancer if not spayed.
9. Don't suddenly change their food all at once: wreaks havoc on their digestion.

In French, is retooting called répouetition?

Vet suggested Breakfast should be nil by mouth for surgery. A nil by mouth rabbit. Yeah sure that's gonna happen. Cause I don't want my baby around for several more years.

k so is a go. Queer mentally ill nerd, teacher degree but working as test engineer. Taking night classes in software dev. Mostly find my zen with knitting and cross stitch, only to have it ruined by bunnies Hulk and Breakfast.
Love fandom, but mostly a lurker. Like me some MCU, YoI, SPN. Big movie fan in general, horror & scifi most of all.
Married to @shanaqui and we're slowly merging into a single person.

So, @Ehlyah and I are taking the huge relationship step of amalgamating our book and game collections, after eleven and a half years of dating and half a year of being married. (We don't really live together yet, it's complicated, but she's housing a bunch of my books, so...)

Being made to sort books. Such labours.
